The Black Horse as a property was re-built in 1822 and was originally three properties, one of which was occupied by John Walker the village blacksmith. The property is listed in the directory of Hull and East Riding in 1840 showing the owner as blacksmith John Walker at the Black Horse Inn.
In the late 1890s part of the property was used as a slaughterhouse and butchers. Since then there have been a number of occupiers and the property was gradually extended in to its current form. Now it is the only inn left in Seaton Ross. The interior is decorated with historical farming and blacksmiths artifacts and photographs of the Inn throughout time for you to enjoy.
